She is back on her blogs, I am sorry I had to take a little break as I was exhausted and have not felt too great recently, however here I am
How are you?
Good
Not good
Meh
One of my favourite things to do at university was chill out in the kitchen with my flatmates chatting, having a laugh and getting to know each other more. Our kitchen was so uncomfortable as it had a long table and 6 colourful chairs.
We took a chair from the cupboard and 2 chairs from a flatmate and made a comfy sofa. I think the best memories I have of that kitchen it playing get to know each other games. We played Would You Rather, Two Truths and a Lie and purity tests.
Would you rather have a million pounds this week or £1 every hour for a year?

Two Truths and a Lie: I hate heights, I am allergic to penicillin and I have 1 guinea pig

Some other fun times are when my flatmate made me amazing pasta with red sauce. I watched a few horror films with my flatmates too.
There was one flatmate who was a gamer and didn't leave the flat when we had nights. After I took a detox on nights out, I would chill in the kitchen with him, having the best laugh ever.
This blog is short, but when you go to university, make sure you can find common ground with those in your flat as you are more than likely going to see these people every day and share communal areas.
I am not going to lie, we have had a few disagreements about the kitchen. One of the main things I found difficult in the beginning was being the only one to hoover, mop and clean the surfaces in the kitchen. I wanted a router, however, no one else wanted one, so you just have to agree to disagree. Some flatmates believed the kitchen was disgusting and needed cleaning, but then others didn't. In the end, you either learn it yourself, create an argument or leave it. At the end of the day, you cannot force your flatmates to do anything and you have to do it yourself or leave it. That was a hard lesson to learn because I wanted everyone to have the same brain as me and feel the same way, however, that is not possible.

Quote of the blog:
"Life is short and every moment is precious" - this quote is perfect for today's blog because all the kitchen moments shaped the start of my university experience. I loved the moments in the kitchen and it helped me get to where I am today. Think about a situation and where all the moments in that situation are precious, be thankful for them, they are shaping your future.
The next blog is about my messy night out, which I do and don't regret at the same time.
