Baking and Essaying

I am not an amazing baker, if it was sugar cookies or plain cupcakes they are easy, but otherwise, it tends to go wrong.
One day I wanted pudding but I also wanted to bake with my boyfriend. We went to Morrisons and picked up some pudding boxes. We picked up some biscuits and icing and chocolate brownies. We did not have a massive oven at university, so we had to do one at a time.

Firstly we made the cookies, and my boyfriend and I kept arguing about who was doing what. Finally, we made the biscuits and we made the brownie batch whilst they were cooking. As we had a lot we decided to share with our flatmates. So my boyfriend put the icing and sprinkles on the biscuits while the chocolate brownies were cooking.
Once the icing was on we took them to our flatmates and they said they were very good. However, when we tried them they tasted like nothing. We then took the brownies out, and they came out completely black. It tasted awful. In the end, everything went into the bin.
Massive reminder to myself: do not bake!
We were baking though because we both had
massive essays to write and we wanted something to eat whilst we worked. Instead, we raided the snack draw filled with crisps, biscuits and sweets.

I did one thing, where I took my 40 oz tumbler cup and filled it with coffee, to stay awake. Do not worry I barely finished it, however with the cup I had it stayed warm for 12 hours.
Quote of the blog:

Honestly, I had more fun sharing them with my flatmates and telling my mum and friends about how I failed to cook. I look back and laugh at the memory and enjoy the fact that it is a memory with my SO.
